🔥 Vintage Old Original PICASSO School of Paris Exhibition Lithograph Poster ’75
This is an original and Vintage Old Original PICASSO School of Paris Exhibition Lithograph Poster, from Pablo Picasso’s 1975 exhibition at the School of Paris Gallery in New York, United States, featuring new etchings from the 347 series. This poster reads: “PICASSO…Etchings from the ‘347’ Series. School of Paris Gallery. New York. June 3 – 20, 1975.” Additionally, there is small lettering in the lower left corner which reads: “1975 School of Graphic Paris, LTD.” Additionally, there is an old, yellowed gallery label on the verso which reads: “Los Angeles Art Projects, Inc.” This poster, which is an Etching on the top half, with Lithographic words and printing on the lower half, is a limited edition of unknown size. However, I would suppose that less than 500 were ever printed, based on what I have seen and researched. Approximately 22 1/4 x 30 1/4 inches (including frame.) Very good condition for age, with some speckles of light dust at the edges, under the glass. Priced to Sell. Acquired in Pasadena, California. Vintage 1972 Olympic Poster – Munich games printed in Germany, 23.5 x 33.5 inches in excellent condition. This is a rare 1972 vintage lithograph, not a Kennedy Graphics reproduction. In 1966 Otl Aicher (1922-1991), a pioneer German Graphic designer and typographer, was asked by the organizers of the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich to become the Olympic Games’ lead designer. Aicher specified that all the individual sport posters start with a photograph. The images were solarized by to achieve unusual effects & printed in bright color combinations. Poster will be rolled and mailed in a tube.

Description: A 1964 election poster designed by artist Ben Shahn, with an illustration of Barry Goldwater, a list of things he voted against in the Senate and the slogan “VOTE JOHNSON” This is an unusual variation of this poster, printed for the South Orange-Maplewood Voters for Johnson-Humphreys, with a list of the committee members (who paid for the poster?). I see these listed as hand-signed, but this signature, and the signature on every example I can find listed, is printed as part of the image (“in the plate”). Size: 22.25″ x 17.25″ Condition: Some slight wrinkling from handling, stain above Shahn’s printed signature. Shipping weight is 4.0 lbs.
